🆕 Updated for Eco 14 — “Garbage & Recycling” — this server and these numbers now reflect the new version. What changed →
  • Byproducts: nearly every recipe now leaves waste behind, so recipe pages list byproducts alongside ingredients.
  • Garbage & recycling: waste sorts from mixed garbage down to pure materials, and can be recycled back into stock.
  • Pollution has four kinds: acid rain, chemical, soil and heavy mineral, each settling into the ground differently. Pollution guide →
  • Modules reworked: upgrades are now Basic / Advanced / Modern / Specialty, one per slot, driving the same bonus system as talents. Module guide →
  • Fresh water: machines need it — water drawn from the ocean has to be desalinated first.
  • Update 14.2 — stores: bulk discounts on sell offers, one-time buy quotas, and a full trade history in the Economy Viewer. Stores guide →

Stores & Trading

Update 14.2 gave stores bulk discounts and one-time buy quotas, and gave the Economy Viewer a full transaction history and a market overview. This guide explains the new store settings and shows what actually sold on this server over the past week.

What changed in Update 14.2

Using bulk discounts

Discount tiers reward buyers for taking more at once. For example, tiers of 10 → 5% off and 50 → 15% off mean buying 30 of the item gets 5% off and buying 60 gets 15% off; buying 5 pays the full price. Only sell offers take tiers — a buy offer pays its listed price.

A one-time quota suits a project with a fixed shopping list ("buy 500 bricks for the town hall, then stop"); the classic keep-up-to-limit mode suits a store that restocks the same goods forever.

Where trade history comes from

The transaction history and the market overview record trades as they happen, starting from the moment a server first runs Update 14.2 — earlier trades were never recorded, so a world upgraded mid-life starts with an empty history. Server owners can cap how long history is kept with the JournalRetentionDays setting (0 keeps it forever).

This server's market, last 7 days

No sales have been recorded on this server in the last 7 days. Trade history only counts trades made since the server started running Update 14.2.
