- Byproducts: nearly every recipe now leaves waste behind, so recipe pages list byproducts alongside ingredients.
- Garbage & recycling: waste sorts from mixed garbage down to pure materials, and can be recycled back into stock.
- Pollution has four kinds: acid rain, chemical, soil and heavy mineral, each settling into the ground differently. Pollution guide →
- Modules reworked: upgrades are now Basic / Advanced / Modern / Specialty, one per slot, driving the same bonus system as talents. Module guide →
- Fresh water: machines need it — water drawn from the ocean has to be desalinated first.

The descriptive prose on this wiki is written by a large language model — but it runs entirely on local, self-hosted hardware: a Gemma 4 E4B model on a single NVIDIA RTX 4070 in a home Unraid server.
Nothing you read here was generated by a commercial cloud API. The game data itself is pulled live from the Eco server; the AI only fills in flavor and gap text. Like any web server, this one keeps its own request log — including visitors' IP addresses — purely to run and improve the site; it is never sold or handed to a third party.
